Chris is very unused to endearments, but he gets distracted enough immediately after to start wondering whether he liked them or not.
His palm isn't quite sweaty on his knee, but it's getting there, squeezing as he leans in more than he had been. He's not as passive this time around but what he does give back is colored by shy inexperience, and the sort of gentle that he usually reserves for Peggy, feather light.
That energy is building again though, and while it doesn't feel like it had when he was upset, it's definitely getting up there, bubbling just below his ears and threatening to spill out, tension tight as a wire.
Some of that static pulses out of him, tingling where his hand is touching his knee, and when he finally pulls back, trying to catch his breath, there might be a little shock between them, leaving chris and maybe Germaryah's lips tingling.
He doesn't mind that feather light shyness. Or the gentleness. He had a feeling that Chris didn't really do things very gently with much of anything, much less himself.
But Germaryah wasn't used to gentleness either. He felt a jolt on his knee from the aether, and he gasped a little at the tingly feeling on his mouth.
Lightly, he touched his fingers to his lips.
"It's like...pins and needles." Huh. Weird. But a cool kind of weird.
Chris pulls his hand off the other boy's knee, legs shifting so they don't touch any more. The blue of his eyes isn't disapating but he seems more focused than usual in this state.
He can see Germaryah, all of him, the wolf in the bottle, the way his own energy is still sparking and lingering where they had touched. He thinks he likes that, the way it looks, but his smile starts to fade as he realizes that he can't tell him because he wouldn't want to know.
His fingers curl into a little fist on his thigh and he glances towards the hall, "I- I'm...I have things I need to do. I should go."
First observation of this experiment: kissing boys who don't want to be monsters is fun but it kind of hurts?
The wolf frowned. This wasn't what he expected. He liked the kiss. It felt...nice. pleasant. Not like he was pulling a hood over his head, or drowning. The tingles were just kind of fun.
But he didn't know what he did, even if Chris's eyes were all lit up again, like when they met.
Ger blinked, and bit his lip, ducking his head. Maybe he hurt him with asking for a kiss this time. He had no idea.
"Deck, horse robots, next time?" He asks, starting to become distracted again the longer he looks at Germaryah. The lingering energy on his skin is fading away just as quickly as it appeared and, no... he doesn't want it to go away.
He pushes himself up, off the couch raising an arm for Peggy to hop onto from her spot on the couch. A moments hesitation after she's climbed up on his shoulder has him leaning to give Ger a lightening quick kiss on his cheek, more of that energy sparking to life before he straightens up and-
Oh, is he running away? Definitely. Bye, Germaryah.

He couldn't remember the last time someone kissed him on the cheek.
