Well, good thing the only thing I want is drugs, booze, and an exit.

Good luck on that. I'd give you an actual hookup if I had one, except the whole 'dead' thing does mean substances only affect me through someone else, so no point.

Have you checked with Hanna Cross? Strange little man, but he should have magical equivalents. [Beat.] And if anyone on this ship might know someone on it with actual non-magical drugs, I suspect it'd be him.

As far as an exit goes... that took me about thirteen months from when I was paired? You'll get there. Just not for a while.

As best you know, you haven't met any. A great deal of us care more about passing for human than I do and are better at it, besides.

Probably not? I'm not exactly a 'marriage' sort of person, and she and John are already married, besides.

Not particularly, but back when I almost killed her she's the one who hunted me down to have a talk weeks after the fact by literally grabbing me?

She just gets in her head about things too much; if you tell her to back off, she typically will. There's a reason she graduated months before I did.
