Well yeah, no. How would I?

And I figured the news would get out sooner or later, so I don't care. People punish for all kinds of reasons anyway.

Vincent got me good earlier though- he ain't no vampire. Vampires here have a different smell- kind of...papery? Under the blood scent? If it makes sense? Paper but not paper.

His smell is more like a peppery, magic scent, thinking on it.

I was trying to get them for me but kept being refused. I have your runes, and the Ghoul now has me unhooked. So I don't get all the withdrawls I was getting before.

I don't know what was before but...you smell off. It's something like magic, but it's something else. It's...itchy? Like pepper.

[Off goes the jacket in prep and...yeah he's really too skinny for his height. Looks like he lost some weight since they met up last. And he has some very faint scarring on his body, in bits and patches he doesn't even notice.]

He had me bunk over and told me to raid the fridge. Can't do that to him, so I just stuck with water and he got a shower.
