You're not getting paid. You didn't accept this, you were goddamn kidnapped. This is slave labor. Sure, it's nice not to wallow in filth, but there's no stick to this carrot. If I trash the ship, they're not going to kick me off it.

Because I died. I died, in pain, terrified, having betrayed someone who was finally, finally giving me some grace. Some kindness. It was an accident, how I died.

But he saw. It was- I think? I think it was quick.

A little scrubbing here and there won't kill me. Getting rejected again and getting no resources? Would.

I rotate, thank you very much. Plus I clean other parts of the ship.

Like the bookshelves. And I try wiping down the Greenhouse windows. And wipe down the dining hall tables...

Leather armor - bracers, back and front, boots, and around my groin to protect the femoral artery. And the cape, which is a full ten pounds by itself. Used to be Dracula’s, it’s a beast to haul around but it repels knives and swords.

Two whips, one of them a solid chain. It actually acts more like a flail.

I’ve got about a dozen throwing knives. My lighter, came from a friend. A short sword, and my little light sword.
